Pharmacy for sale in the North Central part of California. This high profit pharmacy fills about 1,500 preions per week and did over $8,000,000 in sales in 2022 with profit of $1,200,000 and is on pace to do $12,000,000 in sales in 2023 with profits of $1,800,000+.

This is not your average retail pharmacy. They do service the community with regular retail s, but then also do high margin specialty preions. The store is run very efficiently with 1 FT RPH/PIC, 1 part time RPH, 2 FT techs, 2 PT clerks and a FT driver. 20% of the business is delivery.

The new Med-i-cal reimbursements have increased profitability at this store significantly and 85% of the business is Med-i-cal. The store opened in 2020 and took advantage of low competition in the area and has grown tremendously. The owners are husband and wife and want to slow down and spend more time with family.

All insurance contracts are in place and the license is clean with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA. It is not everyday that a pharmacy comes up for sale that is profiting $1,800,000 a year. Because of this high profit, we were able to get a pre-approval from a lender for a well-qualified buyer.

The owner also owns the small strip center the pharmacy is located in and would be willing to sell the property as well. The real estate is not included in the purchase price below and would be separate.

Owner may be willing to work 1-2 days a week for the new buyer but does not want to continue to be the PIC after the sale.
